Laundry Room Policy
1. You must sign-up before doing laundry; the sign-up sheet is in laundry room.
2. Laundry times begin at the top of the hour. NO half hour times.
3. Please do not come in late and start laundry. You must remove clothes from the washer as soon as it is finished (32-35 minutes). Dryers take 30-45 minutes. Remember someone else may be signed up after you.
4. You must stay at the clubhouse while doing laundry.
5. There are 7 washers and 1 utility washer. Sign-up for the number of washers you will need. If signing up as an alternate after someone else, check for the number of washers that are already committed. Allow the person who signed up first to start first. Be aware of any machines that are out of order.
6. No powdered detergents are allowed. Powdered detergents clog the filters and cause the machines to leak. If you use pods they must be placed in the drum, not in the soap tray. If you are washing with warm or cold water, dissolve the pod casing in hot water before adding it to the drum.
7. Dryers will start with 25 cents, but the load will not dry for 25 cents, so start with 50 cents. Put one quarter in, start the dryer then add second quarter.
8. Clotheslines are available in the fenced area outside the laundry room.
9. One commercial-type clothesline is permitted on your lot, as long as when it is in use all parts are solely supported by the RV.
